Math and Science Camp on 20-22 Dec 2019

In the weekend before Christmas, a group of Singapore volunteers visited GTIS to conduct a math and science camp for our Grade 7-12 students.

It was a 2.5 days’ worth of fun-packed activities!

Basic Newtonian science concepts were exhibited though fun activities such as balloon-propelled handmade toy cars and rainbow wheels. And maths formulas were reinforced through innovative exercises of orange peels (we get to eat the fruit after that!)

Most importantly, the students had a meaningful time of bonding with each other and learning the importance of teamwork and post-activity reflection.
